Eight years ago, the first programs offering VoIP technology surfaced on the internet. At that point, the only people I knew who used the programs were those with family and friends overseas. It was their way of getting out of a high home phone bill. All you needed was a camera and a microphone. But on the business end of the world, the use of VoIP was slowly starting to take off.
It wasn’t long before businesses began switching to a VoIP provider and it made perfect sense. As your business grew, you didn’t have to worry about installing new phone lines or equipment.
